Under Dawgs of the Year

The Golden State Warriors have been the Western conference champions for the last 4 years in a row and are in favor to win again for the 5th straight year. Although their roster now contains 5 All-star caliber playoffs, supporting the best roster they have had in the 5 year stretch, this year the Warriors have some serious competition within the western conference.
For starters you have the young Denver Nuggets who's potential is un-measurable with All-Star Center Nikola Jokic, young and hot PG Jamal Murray, Lock down Defender in Gary Harris, Former All-Star Paul Millsap, and a bunch of elite guys on the bench like Isiah Thomas, and potentially a HUGE draft steal in Michael Porter Jr. Although this team is way to young to make any big noise this season, I would not be shocked if these 2 had a long and intense series in the playoffs.
Reigning MVP James Harden has been lights out averaging 36+ points a game and having all his roster being injured at different times, this squad fully healthy will be a nightmare for the Warriors. Chris Paul is still a great point guard and is capable of playing with curry, you have Clint Capela who is one of the best big men around in the NBA currently, but has had an injury bug all year, newly acquired Kenneth Faried who has been very helpful in the last 10 games, and a solid bench including Eric Gordon who is scoring left and right with Harden. This team may turn it up and be a problem for Golden State if they do not play their best brand of basketball.
and lastly my dawgs of the year....
The Oklahoma City Thunder have been playing AMAZING. Russell Westbrook handing PG13 the keys this year and told him do what he has to do to get us to the finals..... as long as I can average a triple double. Kidding.
Paul George has been playing out of his mind and of MVP caliber even though I still think James Harden should and will get the award, PG is playing amazing this season and leading Russ and the boys to the 3rd seed in the west as of All-Star Break. If they continue this run I think they may give Golden State a run for their money in the finals in a revenge series for Russ and a Thunder team who lost to them not to long ago after being up 3-1 in the WCF.....
The Thunder have potential to end the Warriors run at being the best in the West and in the NBA and it will be fun to watch these playoffs as for the first time in nearly 5 years Golden State has not dominated every opponent in the regular season, and will give us the most interesting playoffs since about 2006!
