KP to the Mavs out of nowhere. The Knicks traded their best player to the Mavs for a young promising Point Guard, and past prime center, and a couple of roll players.

So the Knicks did the most Knicks thing possible and traded a young star for a couple of guys who are in the league.

Pros

- receive young Point Guard who has potential and has a mamba attitude

- Center who is solid and can be attractive for upcoming Free Agents

- Free'd up salary cap by dumping Courtney Lee and THJ

Cons

- Trade star player and best selling pitch for upcoming summer

- receiving a mid 1st round pick in a draft that is top heavy

- Traded second best player to get something of non equal value in a season you need to tank

Mavericks

Pros

- Match up KP with Luka two young foreign stars with the best foreign player to ever play in the NBA

- Receive another star player in THJ who can give you 20 a night with Barnes and the two above

- Built a really solid playoff caliber core

Cons

- ......

The Knicks have been violated and it is going to be fun to watch the Mavs rise to stardom with their young core especially with all the potential between Luka and KP
